Ole Miss Provost Scholars or Elon?

I'm having a difficult time deciding between Elon and University of Mississippi with the Provost Scholars Program (I didn't apply to the Honors College because at the time I wasn't heavily considering the school, unfortunately).
With financial aid, I could go to Ole Miss for roughly 9k a year and Elon 32.5k so far, since financial aid packages haven't been released.
I think if financial aid works out I would choose Elon. If I don't receive enough financial aid, I'm not sure if my family will be able to make Elon work or not so I want to get more information on Ole Miss, because I'm still not sure if I would be comfortable there even after visiting.
I want to double major in Journalism and Political Science. I know Ole Miss has a great paper, but Elon also seemed to have a very strong communications department.
I definitely want to join a sorority and be active in volunteering wherever I go.
Part of my hesitation with Ole Miss is that I won't really fit in down there. I visited in March and liked it, but I'm still nervous about whether it would actually be the school for me or not. I'm from MD so at either school I will be from out of state.
The schools are different I know, I am just so conflicted and would love third party opinions.
I just want to choose the school at which I will have the best experience. Also, any further info. on the Provost Scholars program would be greatly appreciated (:

Elon. its a lot better

I ended up choosing Elon after receiving my FA.
