<p>I was there with our son it was very interesting. I sold my wife definitively, she believes schools need to change. The innovatice teaching style was interesting, the alumni, trustees, professors, and president of the school were there.</p>
<p>This was at the Sheriden across the street from Stanford. Definitely worth the time. Just wondering if anyone else was there that is on these forums.</p>
<p>DS was there (an alumnus)–he enjoyed meeting some older alums and talking to the prospective students and parents. Glad you had a good time, nothing like impassioned students and alums to sell the school!</p>

<p>Hi Santookie - Another happy Olin parent here. I hope you find some other parents that were at the Sheridan. It’s helpful to do the college search along with other families as sounding board <waving at="" flmathmom!="">. You can also find good info scattered in the other threads. </waving></p>
<p>If I recall correctly, approx 20% of Oliners are from CA… and they make up an even higher percentage of the applicants.</p>
