Is the room available for the public? Or do you have to be in a special class to gain access to the room? Where's the room located in the RSF? I really need a place to do suspension training/ TRX...

It’s in the basement. Unsure if you need to be in a class or not.

First off, it’ll be useless for TRX-based stuff because (unless they’ve upgraded their equipment by a pretty wide margin), they don’t have any power cages, only squat stands (as is traditional for Oly facilities, honestly). That said:

1) To be so much as allowed to enter the room, you have to be enrolled in an Oly class, have completed the Oly class, or have demonstrated that you’re proficient in the lifts and don’t need instruction. I sampled the class while it was free and was vastly less than impressed with it, so if you’re looking to actually do any serious Oly work, I’d look into spending a month at a real Oly facility (e.g. California Strength in San Ramon) over the summer.

2) The equipment is pretty minimal and, iirc, they don’t have enough plates to support more than one legit Oly person at a time. That may have changed.

3) Once you have access, you can only go down through the use of tickets, which at their cheapest are $7 each (if you buy 84).

4) Once you have access AND tickets, you are also restricted by the fact that they are only open for (last time I checked) 2 hours per day, 5 days per week. Which is completely ludicrous, especially given the fact that a significant number of established Oly programming methods call for multiple training sessions per day.
