Omg help please!!!!

Hi I am currnenlty a sophomore. I wanted to switch my P.E. class to JV Football, and my counselor allowed it. I just had to sign out of H Algebra 2 sixth period and switch it to a 5th period H Algebra 2 class. But when i asked my H Algebra 2 teacher to sign my oprogram to switch me out she refused to because the 5th period teacher is in anotherslc(small learning community). I hate her! She's such a *****, what can I do now? P.E. will look horrible on my transcripts! And I was nice and respectful to her, but she is ALWAYS and i meanm ALWAYS in a bad mood. ahhhhhh help plz!!!!

Most schools require you take P.E. and give no substitutes so it won’t look terrible on your transcript. There’s nothing you can do if the teacher didn’t approve it, you can ask your parents to ask her to reconsider but she doesn’t have to. It’s not that a huge issue.

I guess your right, I’m just freaking out. Thanks for the advice.

Could my counselor maybe tell universities when I’m applying that I couldn’t?!

calm down, it doesn’t make any difference. its not like jv football is a ap calc or anything haha

@pbojkner: Thanks that does calm me down. but the thing is a lot of universities want to see extracurriculars, and my friends brother(who got IN to HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL said that p.e. looks bad compared to a sport. While I’m not aiming at Harvard I do want to go To Cornell, UPenn, Vanderbilt etc. But thanks for your insight.

No, P.E. is a basic graduation requirement for most schools so it doesn’t look bad. I wouldn’t bother mentioning it even, it’s really not even a slight issue.

You can still play sports even if you’re not in the official class, right? Just put that in your extracurriculars.
