As I am an international, I emailed Princeton requesting them to email me once they had decided on the admissions. They responded by saying they would do it on Wednseday... tomorrow!

A bit ironic that I might be knowing my fate before some of you living in America do... ;-)

Jeygee: You have to email them, and they will add you to the queue.

Almost_done: Here is my complete message. Only the last sentence pertains to our situation.

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Gautam Bhatia, and I am an Early Decision applicant to Princeton. I have a couple of questions/clarifications which I would be grateful if you could answer.

Firstly, I would like to point out that my PIN Code was printed wrongly on the envelope from Princeton in which I was sent application material and a viewbook. My correct PIN Code is: 110016

Secondly, given the long period of time that it takes for international mail to reach its destination, is there anyway that international applicants like me can be notified of their status by e-mail?

Oh God! My mom will be turning my computer on every hour, while I'm away in school for exam, and see if any e-mails have arrived. (I use gmail notifier, which automatically logs in)

yay!! i just got a response from pton as well about the email notification!!! im soooooo nervous now....it's already 14th here in nz....it feels weird.....man i have 8 more apps to go and like 10 essays to write but i cnt do anything...!!!

im gona be staying up tonight constantly looking at my msn mail notifying thingie!!
