okay so i logged into USConnect and the screen changed... like when i go to Admission it says Enrollment Commitment Deposit, RSVP for Admitted Student Programs, Undergraduate Application, and Admission Documents... does this mean I'm in???? cuz i mean they wont ask me to "confirm my intent to enroll" if im not in right???

oh and btw i didnt get any DHL email yet so i thought i wasnt in this wave

I had the same thing happen right now when I checked my page:

Under the Admissions tab, the “Enrollment Commitment Deposit” and “RSVP for Admitted Student Programs” have appeared (the “Undergraduate Application” and “Admission Documents” boxes are still there).

Logically, this should mean that I got in, but because of all the brouhaha about status updates, I don’t want to get my hopes up.

I clicked on the enrollment link from one of these threads, and it brought me to the enrollment commitment form. Does this mean what I think it means??

I can only say this: When my daughters applied (I wasn’t as saavy in any way shape or form) and I logged in I got to another page that indicated class availability. (Oh, and being obsessive I did it more than once…and I got a message that USC tracks activity on the site so, in essence, knock it off.)
Bottom line: One SC grad and one attending. Make of that what you wish.

The second box (RSVP for Admitted Student Programs) leads to a page, after confirming my phone number, that starts by saying something like “Now that you’ve been chosen to attend.” Again, I’m going to oust logic in the name of skepticism and hold that statement with a lot salt.
I got frustrated and sent them a message asking them if I was authorized to see those two boxes because I had been accepted, or if there had been an error.

livesmart, that’s cool man! But it’s likely going to end up changing my major when I have the chance during Orientation. Don’t really think CS is for me anymore.

ukudad: I think my application has always been “being reviewed” for a long time, and still is. Mine was postmarked on March 12 (Friday), and the next wave should be postmarked March 19 (Friday).

Malik: Aww that’s too bad. I’m going to try to get as much out of USC game design (i wonder if i can double major in the BA program…) as I can - I’m only doing CS for the games. What are you planning on changing to?
