I have taken the sat's and did really bad on them. I did not omit any questions...so my question is, is it bad omitting too many questions?

Too much of anything is bad, including omitting questions. You should only omitt when you have no idea what the answer is and cannot eliminate any of them. That being said, personally, I never omitt questions because I always have SOME inkling to what the answer is. Because I can eliminate one or two answers, just omitting the question is not as good as taking a chance and guessing.

Omitting isn't necessarily bad. I only do it when I have no idea, ie have only eliminated 1 answer choice or just really don't know. It sure doesn't help you. I ran into a lot of problems with omission on my math portion of the SAT. I only missed a few questions, but I screwed up the time and left a whole lot blank. That will really hurt you.

If you are aiming for a 700 or above on each section, i'd suggest you not omit
however, if you are just trying to aim for a 600, definitely omit some questions and spend more time one being accurate

appreciate all your incite, thank you.
