On a scale of 1-10, how diverse is your high school?

Probably a 2 or 3. There's a few Asian, Hispanic and black kids, and some Jewish kids, but the average student is definitely white, Christian and upper-middle class. There's also only about 3 or 4 openly GLBT kids in a school of nearly 500.

1

White
Rich
Male
Catholic

7-8. There are many different religions, including some non-traditional ones. There are plenty of minorities, but not nearly enough to make white people a minority. A lot of the minorities are Asian. A wide variety of political beliefs is represented, but mainstream Obama liberals dominate. It's a pretty middle class school.

6- too many Koreans.

We have everything in my school except spanish people. We have like 8 black kids tho in the whole school. A hell lot of white and Asian mix with like 10% being brown. Every major religion in my school.

dunno the number but my school's 40% asian (20% chinese, 10% indian, 5% korean, 5% japanese), 35% white, 25% other (latino, african american, pacific islander, etc)

5....just middle of the path.

6/7 most either act like wanna be thugs or are hypocritical christians.

Ethnic Population
White : 53%
Hispanic : 24%
African American : 12%
Other : 11%
Drop Out Rate: 0.7%
Attendance as of :
05-19 thru 05-23 = 95.67%.

Hmmm. Probably a 4. We're mostly all white, with a bit of a hispanic mix. Clique wise- we are very cliquey. There are tons of different little groups. Political association mostly conservative except the teachers who are mainly liberal, which tends to present challenges.

-1.

99% Hispanic
1% Other (Two white kids and an asian).

86% of my school is Caucasian, ~8% is African American, 6% other

Small percentage Hispanic, small percentage Asian, small percentage African-American, majority white, lower-middle class, and redneck.

1

98% of student body is African American.

Socioeconomically and ethnically diverse. More the former than the latter.

Well, my state is the second-whitest in the country (96%, thx vry much :( ), but my school feels more diverse than that. Half my friends are Asians or Jews. I'd estimate 85% white at my school.

I'd say a 9 or 10. My school has a variety of races, ranges from high middle to poor in terms of economic classes, and a variety of different religions and interests.

Everyone is either upper middle class or upper class. About 25% asian, 60% caucasian, 10% hispanic.

9 or 10, but we draw kids from all over NYC so it's not a big surprise. I'd say...45% white, 40% Asian, 10% Hispanic and 5% black, but it's very very diverse in terms of socioeconomic classes and religions and political viewpoints and sexuality and all that.

We have a majority whites and some minorities. Most of the school I guess is Liberal which is surprising.
