<p>The University of Texas and four other journalism schools will partner with ABC News to create on-campus bureaus where students will produce content, the network announced Wednesday. ABC News on Campus will start in September and provide journalism students the chance to work in several formats on stories that could appear on "Good Morning America," "World News with Charles Gibson" and "Nightline."</p>
<p>The initiative also will give ABC insight into what the 33 million 18- to 25-year-olds in the U.S. are thinking and doing, network officials said. "These college digital bureaus will extend the newsgathering reach of ABC News throughout the country," ABC News President David Westin said in a statement. The participants will be mostly upperclassmen and graduate students selected by the network and the respective universities.</p>
