On the 4.0 scale, What is a 79-80%??

<p>Im hearing 2.5 from one place, and 3.0 from another place
And do colleges pay major attention to freshman year grades? (This is one of the reasons my GPA is that low)</p>

<p>For my school 70-79 is a C (2.0) and 80-89 is a B (3.0).</p>

<p>If you get the 7.9 it is a 2.3, if you get an 80 it is a 2.7</p>
