I have 5:35, and I have a 1500. In the FACE.

I wasn’t trying to take a stance. Btw

Jacko…

1500/1600?

Yeah, if he’s talking about a 1500/2400… then I feel dumb :/

If you’re talking about me, I’m a she. And yes 1500/2400.

:(

In my face.

Why yes, I accept your apology for hastily jumping to conclusions. :p

Just about 21 more hours . . .

If I call admissions tomorrow to ask about the time stamp, do I run the risk they will retract my acceptance for asking such a dumb question??

^bostonvillanova kkkkkkk this is so hilarious!!! You gave me laugh hahahahahah

I hope not :-)

lol… or you could wait a few more hours and check your decision

earlier, knowing might be a relief, but by tomorrow, the wait will be over so there is no need to call

you know SATs aren’t everything. Look at last year’s decisions thread. Many 2300s got rejected.

Jackdaniels- you do realize that there’s more than 1 ED thread? I was a ED applicant, and trust me, EVERYONE was freaking out about the time thing, just like now. The same theories were discussed, same emotions ran high, etc… etc… And in the end, it had no significance on admissions.

^ there WHERE is that thread? no one has posted it and i can’t find it

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a separate thread of its own; more like, people were posting their anxieties in various places/threads during that time. There should be one in my post history.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/duke-university/824012-what-time-did-you-recieve-your-pin-info-today.html

I think there were more, but this was the thread I posted on. I remember the EDers started a an actual thread about the time stamp, but I could be wrong.

Keikoblue, the PIN receive time and time stamp on decisions are different! We don’t care what time people got the e-mail, but rather when their decisions were posted.

^ exactly. as far as i know, this issue was never discussed before this year! At least not the way it’s being discussed now

Oh I’m sorry. But the psychology behind the two are the same, IMO. Duke sent out the pins in batches- first the accepted, then rejected, then waitlisted. Just like the idea that Duke posted the decisions in batches- first the accepted, then rejected, then waitlisted.

Well…there’s still my theory (relating to bibsuv’s friend with the 1500). And, also, could there be a correlation between when we received our PIN/passwords and the upload time of our application? Just to start off the madness - so we can speculate our a**es off until 6 PM tomorrow - 5:31 PM EST for the first one, then 7:01 PM EST for the PIN/password one.
