On the topic of keeping schools updated

<p>So, I read that it is important to keep schools updated about new awards and achievements. Exactly what do those consist of? </p>

<p>Also, would it be appropriate to inform a college that is still making a decision about you that you were offered a Presidential Scholarship from another institution? For example, I applied to several top 20 liberal arts colleges and they are my top choices, but I received the highest merit scholarships from Willamette University and University of Colorado, Boulder. Should I inform the LACs of those "achievements"? Thanks!</p>

<p>I don’t think that giving one of your schools any information about other schools you are applying to is appropriate.</p>
