Does it help to eliminate answer choices with extreme words in CR questions? Is it possible that there could sometimes be an answer with an extreme answer choice? and finally, can anyone give me a list of all these "extreme" words? TThanks in advance :)

‘Usually’ is about as moderate as you can get while still implying any kind of increased frequency. It’s on par with often. The word ‘sometimes’ is probably the only way to get less extreme, and it doesn’t allow you to imply any kind of correlation. I would make sure there were no exceptions before putting ‘always’ or ‘never’ in an answer but ‘usually’ is probably alright.

And extreme words also include: animosity, hatred, disgust.
However, if the passage clearly said “I showed disgust towards…” and the question refers to that line, that yes extreme words are possible. But usually, 99% of the time, this will not happen

definitely don’t rule out an answer because it has “usually” in it
ditto with what superexcited said. it’s very common to see a CR passage in which the author’s tone is critical. answer choices will say that author has animosity/disgust for x, y, or z and the answer is way too extreme if the author’s tone is only slightly critical.
