Should I appeal? Will a failed attempt of appeal take me off the waiting list?

My question exactly… i think I will just for the sake of it, I mean it can’t hurt you! Good luck.

wait does anyone know if we are on the waitlist at UCSB do we have to write an essay or send in our 1st semester senior year grades?? I know at Davis, they have to do both of those things. So do we have to do anything or no?

No essay. But they will see your grades regardless once the transcripts are sent in

But aren’t the final transcripts sent in after we hear if we have gotten in off the waitlist? Or are we supposed to send those like now?

bump! I was wondering the same thing too! if I should appeal if I’m on the waitlist? Would it make my chances better or worse?

if your appeal is denied, you won’t be taken off the waitlist, so yep it doesn’t hurt to try!

and according to the ucsb appeal site:

“If the basis for the appeal is a changed grade or an incorrectly reported test score, provide documentation (e.g., a transcript or a revised score report) in the same envelope as your letter of appeal.”
