Once last choice: Bryn Mawr or Smith?

Well, I'm doing one last minute app.... very last minute at that. So, I have a decision to make: do I apply to bryn mawr or smith?

I'd love comments!! I'm sort of leaning towards Bryn Mawr at the moment.... Wellesley is my top choice with DePauw as my third (that would be after either Smith or Bryn Mawr)

Help?

What is it about Wellesley that you really love?

The alumnae connection, the academic and social environment, campus life, and proximity to Boston. Wellesley is my ultimate goal, but I want something to be a close second ;)

I'm going to say Bryn Mawr too. It seems to be a better fit.

I would have to agree. Like I said, Bryn Mawr is my first choice out of the two so far... al though I don't really know mucho about either. ((the dorms @ Bryn Mawr are amazing))

Like I said, it was completely last minute that I decided to find one last college to apply to that would serve as a close second to Wellesley if I didn't get in there.

Anyone know much about either school?

Yeah, Wellesley is more similar to Bryn Mawr than Smith is.

Why not both? Many women's colleges have free on-line applications.

Very true, and I considered this. I just don't think I have the time to finish both apps.... they're due on Tuesday. I've got the Bryn Mawr one mostly completed (thanks to commonapp, which I used for wellesley) But I had to write an extra essay for the suppliment. I might look into it, but so far I'm much more attracted to Bryn Mawr.

Are the apps so different that the essays and so on can't be transplanted?

I'm not sure... but I think I've decided on Bryn Mawr anyway.

You don't seem very attached to applying to Smith, so you might as well not apply to a school you don't really want to go to and just focus on the Bryn Mawr application.
