sadly, I'll be in the international pool for stupid reasons regarding the green card. But if I get in, how difficult would it be for me - coming from a low income family - to receive aid?

bump???

Did you look at the website?

[University of Michigan Office of Financial Aid: International Students](http://www.finaid.umich.edu/Apply_and_Receive_Aid/Applying_for_Aid/international.asp)

With money…thats how you pay for it, they don’t accept barter

@quicksilverbq: hahahahahaha, bartering…

and how come you’re being considered international? just because you’re not a citizen doesn’t mean they consider you international…having a green card is fine for incoming freshmen, i think you just have to fax them your permanent resident card.

i had a green card… they marked me “out of state”, but i got it fixed to in-state.

green card=permanent resident=eligible for aid.
