I happened to be in New York for the week while I got my acceptance letter. I'm an international student so I won't be able to come back for the accepted students days.

Take a “Lion’s Den,” day, visit admissions and have them set up an overnight so you can talk to current students and get the vibe.

Call admissions and ask them to set up a tour guide for you.

I’d say visit the libraries… Columbia’s libraries are awesome. Oh the memories of countless nights spent in Butler / Kent / SIPA / Law School libraries…

Take a tour

Go to an information session

Eat a meal in a dining hall … and, best case, sit with and talk to some current students

Hang out on campus for awhile

Walk around the neighborhood around campus to see if you like it … it is a thriving urban neighborhood
