I have passed the WST and am eligible for upper division writing courses

I have 69 transferable college credits at a community college.

However I have or will have a F in American history class. The one required for Graduation at CSU's

I will retake the course in the Spring and will get an A. Its an easy class but unfortunate things came up and I had to fail the class. I cannot drop the class for W because it is pass the deadline.

Will CSU admission rescind my application because of this F? Lower my chances?
Will this lower my chances for nursing admissions?
How bad is this one F?
Or will it have very little effect because I will retake it and pass?

Also should I send in my AP scores from High school? I have 5 3's and took 5/6 of all the AP currently available at the time at my high school.

Thanks in advance.

These grades are all from community college.
