Hey...

A friend of mine scored a 1950 (610CR, 670M, 670W) on their SAT Reasoning test in June. This person didn't study too much -- just a few practice sections here and there.

What do you guys think would be a reasonable score to target during a month of prep? (this person's going to take the October test)

Any advice that I can pass along to my friend in terms of prep?

Thanks!

I need to know too, im in a similar situation yet I scored an 1800.

Different techniques seem to work for different people. For me, buying a couple of SAT books and just doing math and writing problems seemed to work. I only started this about 2 weeks before the test so my results weren't that significant but they brought my scores up. I went from a 660 in math to a 710 and i went from a 52 in the MC to a 72 in writing. For math and writing you just basically need to know what type of questions ETS askes and you're good. I'm not really sure about CR though, that's my weakest part of the test and I think I'm just going to go through passages trying to see what questions I get wrong and hopefully be able to do better. I hope this helps!
