<p>Hi guys. I was wondering... on my list of colleges I'm applying for, I haven't applied for any public colleges; because many of the public colleges I want to go to are out of state and I would pay more than the in state student. Should I still apply to public colleges? </p>

<p>A lot of public universities are still cheaper for Out Of State students than pricey private schools.</p>
<p>Watermelonkate is right. Check out the Cost of Attendance at each school you are interested in. Many schools (like the SUNYs) are relative bargains and close to what you MAY pay at in-state schools.</p>
