nothing?
so im assuming NO ONE LIKES BRANDEIS :O

THAT CANNOT BE!!!

Calm down, it’s only been one day since you started the thread. :P

I absolutely love the atmosphere here. I’ve visited some of the Ivies, and they’re competitive/elitist to the point where it’s frustrating. I may have just had bad luck when I went, but at Brandeis it’s a lot more laid-back and everyone is on the whole much friendlier. Judging from the people I know who go to Brandeis or higher-ranked schools, Brandeisians aren’t any less intelligent, but maybe they’re the sort of people who didn’t try their absolute hardest to get into a top-ten university while they were in high school.

The top things that I love about Brandeis are the people, atmosphere, and academics. On my floor alone, there is a sax player who toured with Macy Gray over the summer, a national champion rower, an international student who is 200 pages into writing a novel, a semi-professional acrobat, and they’re all some of the nicest people I have ever met. Several of my friends here turned down more “highly ranked” colleges, such as Northwestern, Cornell, Amherst, and Wash U to spend their four years in a non-stressful environment where they could be surrounded by amazing students.
I’ve discussed it with my friends several times, and we’ve decided that you would be hard pressed to find a mean-spirited student at Brandeis. The students are all fairly easy going, and if you ever visit almost any of them will take the time to help you out of show you around.
In my opinion the biggest downfall of the school is its lack of sports. Nobody goes to any of the baseball or soccer games, and we don’t even have a Varsity football game. However, they are working on renovating a building for the new pool for a varsity swim team. IM and Club sports are bigger than varsity sports, and I might even say that they attract more students than varsity.

haha thanks you guys! :)
