Online Animation Achools

Hi I am in the military based in Little Rock Ar. This has a couple of problems when it comes to getting my degree.

1 Time Limitations
2 I am in the middle of nowhere so I have to do this online

I have looked at a couple of schools and heard good and bad things about them some more than others. My main concern is finance I already have about 1 1/2 year completed at the Art Institute in Schaumberg but Joined the military when finances got rough. I am still paying on that loan BTW. So Does anyone have a any information about a military friendly school that has an online Animation degree preferably one that will accept my credits from AI Schaumberg. Here is a list of some that I found and some of the problems that I might have with them.
1 WestWood- Well they have a class action law suite against them that can't be good
2 Art Institute Of Pittsburgh Online- I have heard mixed reviews but a LITTLE EXPENSIVE for my tastes it will prob take all my GI Bill and TA money to do it.
3. UAT-There only Nationally Accredited and I here you really want to find a school with both National and Regional.
4.SCAD- Same as UAT I believe and VERY expensive

p.s. The Military will only cover $250 per credit hour the GI Bill will have to take care of the rest.

Check out the University of Maryland University college UMUC They have on-base and on-line programs in many different fields of study. Active military and their dependents pay Maryland in-state tuition rates. I don’t know if they offer animation, but they may have a program in a related field. They also accept up to 90 transfer credits for a Bachelor’s degree.

Good luck!
