what are some good online ap class opportunities?

I took several on Florida Virtual School. Let's just say that you have to be extremely motivated to even finish that class with a B.

Some people had good experiences with Epgy.

I'm trying to convince my dad to let me take UCCP's Honors Sociology and AP Calc BC. He says I have too much on my plate -__-

How are people's experiences with Johns Hopkin's Distance Education, AP level?

there was some free california thing online (free to everyone), its not a graded class, and the only point is to help you study for test, but it looks very helpful.

I recommend AP classes on flvs. They are actually good at prepping you for the AP exam.

Link TomHirschfeld?

I took AP Gov'nt on flvs. Ended up getting an A (although it was an 89.5, I was just lucky it rounded ^_^) and a 5. It was a good course (although I took it before they revamped it, so I don't know what's changed)

Hey TomHirschfeld, can you post the link to the site you were talking about?

Hopkin's CTY AP Calc worked well in my house. It's are pricey but well executed. My S said that the lectures were very entertaining and he finished AB and BC pretty efficiently and they immediately sent linear algebra and when he finished that they sent the next course. He said that he had quick feed back on tests and if he had needed help the grad student assigned to him would have been easy to contact by phone or online. He was certainly prepared for the AP exam.

Since I'm from Florida...try FLVS. If you have an AP booklet...it has a list of all the online providers.

AP Comp Sci on FLVS was very well run and comprehensive. S earned a 5 of the test.
Glasses: CTY offers Linear Algebra? From your post it appears you pay by time rather than course is that correct? We are looking for a good online Linear Algebra or Diff Eq course as S has finished through Calc III and had a bad experience (awful teacher) with DE online Calc III through the local Com College and will not go that route again.

I took AP Art History and I got a 93/92 . I ended up getting a 4 on the AP exam.

Yes, that is correct.

Try Apex Learning, I've taken three (and will take two more next year) through them. Everything's ran smoothly.

I think this might be the California link -
