Hi I really want to finish my degree online, and then do Masters/Doctoral work. Does anyone have experience with this? I’m going a little nuts here -
The accreditations seem tricky, but as long as the school is accredited, regionally or nationally, they look ok. Wondering if I should only apply to Californian schools as they likely have agreements to accept my Californian CC credits. SMC is a great transfer school instate.
Does it really matter which school I go to for undergrad? Should pick one with a good reputation or rated highly etc. etc.? The contrary opinion might be a school like ASU, which used to have a party school reputation but are #4 in online bachelors and seem to have a lot of resources. Do I need professor resources for undergrad? Is it dumb to spend more on tuition for a bigger school when the undergrad isn’t near as important as further schooling? Cost per credit isn’t really an issue (They all look like $350-$600/credit) -hoping for no more than 120~ standard.Religious courses and pre-calculus are deal breakers (B.A. goals / stats and discrete math). but I’m dedicated, and would really like to have a degree in the next 2 years or so.
https://thebestschools.org/rankings/30-best-online-bachelor-psychology-degree-programs/ ← ranks colleges and includes Accelerated Learning (short session information)
https://www.online-psychology-degrees.org/best/online-bachelors-degree-programs-in-psychology/ ← This one only lists one non-christian program with Accelerated Learning (7-week courses) in St. Paul, MN
https://www.usnews.com/education/online-education/bachelors/rankings ← doesn’t really match up with the rest and I can’t figure out how to sort by majors
and I’ve got 3 other tabs opened sorting the lowest tuition rates between online schools.
Thanks a bunch!
