I’m currently a second semester freshman enrolled in 15 credits. I’d like to switch one of my courses to online through my university because I want to have fridays off because I go home a lot on weekends. Would this show up on my transcript as being different from my classes with normal meeting times? It’s one of those BS core classes so I’m not worried about it being hard, but will this effect me down the road?
Whether a class is online/in-person does not typically show up on a transcript. In some cases, colleges will ask for verification if a class was online but this is mainly in the case of transferring. Some schools like to know that your foreign language or science classes weren’t done online in order to provide you with course credit. Other than that, I really see no way in how it would affect you.
