online courses with CTD Gifted LearningLinks

For this upcoming school year, I want to take both AP Physics B and AP Bio. Because I cannot fit both into my schedule, I found an AP Bio online course with Northwestern Univ's CTD (Center for Talented Development) Gifted LearningLinks.

I took another AP class with CTD a few years ago, found the course challenging and interesting, and got a 5 on the AP test....so I know that CTD's AP Bio online course would be challenging and good prep for the AP test.

I'm wondering: Does MIT consider CTD a reputable institution?
That is, would they acknowledge that I spent 8-10 hours/week on a rigorous AP Bio course or would they see it as a "Mickey Mouse" course...?

(This won't affect my decision to take the class, but I've taken several courses with CTD and I haven't found how colleges view the program.)

Thanks.

I don’t think it matters. MIT would see your 5 on the AP test and your initiative to take the AP in a good light.

You should know, though, that if you take AP bio online you might be missing out on a lot of really fun labs. At my high school AP bio was a four-semester-long course with a 1.5-hour lab every week, including gel electrophoresis and a cat dissection.

I am considering several online programs, is Gifted Online a good program, can you tell me a little bit how it works? Thank you very much!!!
