i wil be there at 7 pm ready to cry my eyes out

refreshing constantly

i read in one of the other threads about a week ago--someone posted up a link to a thread from last year that had the decision letter on it. we all know it says stuff like "congratulations blah blah" but i'm curious as to what a reject/defer letter looks like. does anyone know? because i'm gonna read it over and over again and so instead of looking for "congratulations" next week i'll look for...er whatever they say for rejects/deferrals. and is that what you say? deferral? LOL i have no clue. o.O

how many people are going to wait for the letter? i kind of want to wait for the letter because i always pictured it that way--opening the mailbox and getting a letter. then trying to hold it up so i could see through the envelope LOL yeah i'm lame like that :P but i really don't think i can restrain myself from checking online :-\ good thing for west-coasters it comes out at 4 :) goodness i'm going to be so dazed out during that day hahaha

i think i wanna wait for the letter, its almost superstitious, that i sent it out by mail and that i should recieve it back that way
ive never had good luck with looking at important decisions/results online

i hate it.. its one of my best friends birthdays.. AND its a half-day so i get out at 11 EST

my cousin has a show in sarasota that day. it's at 8. it's a one hour drive away from here.

hmmmm...........

i wont be home from my swim meet till probably around 9

I want to wait for the letter too, but I know myself too well, and there's nothing that can stop the urge to find out my fate as soon as possible. If I don't see the large "CONGRATULATION" sign on top, I'll just close the browser, and go shoot some pool to keep me calm.

spazallan- you live by me! (according to that map) where do you go to school? hmm perhaps i should've just pmed you.

I go to Hawaiian Mission Academy, it's a small Christian school. I assume you go to Punahou, since you said you live close by me (Makiki). My school is just a few blocks from Punahou.

Oh, and sorry, my PM box was full. It's cool now, I just cleared it.

6 Dayss!!!

6 days and 5 hours

i hope these last days go quickly.

I still remember the coutndown from 60 like it was yesterday. I can't believe we are in single digit territory. Surreal!

why do 6 days still feel like so long to me?? the excitement/nervousness hasn't caught up with me yet! or perhaps it's just habitual procrastination... i might be biting my nails off in the final hours!

oh well... i'll probably be asleep! stupid time zones!

i'll have a snow day tomorrow, so tick 3 days off that

^^^ how do you know you'll have a snow day? I thought NJ wasn't going to get as hard as it did last time?

we are getting 3-6 inches + ice down here in maryland so i'm thinking snow day too

Snow day likely for us in the Philly suburbs tomorrow too ... good chance to finish up RD apps.

Oh, last year the first CC EDer logged on and announced their acceptance ten minutes early (at 2:50 PM)!

i dont think ill have a snow day tomorrow.. its 4-7 inches for bostons northern suburbs.. but its gonna be from 6a-4p ish.. so well have school.. but itll be a pain in the arse to get out of the parking lot (theres a huge.. really steep hill before the lot exit..)
