Online high school courses-tell me what you think!

My son needs to make up a D in AP Physics from a public school. Has anyone heard of or had experience with Laurel Springs School?

I haven’t, but if you search all of CC by going to the Search button in the top toolbar below the college ad, typing
laurel springs
and selecting the “posts” button (instead of “threads”) button, you will get many hits.

thanks! I did that but haven’t seen much old chat.

It’s a legit school.
You may also want to look at Potters School. It’s another online school.

I am familiar with Laurel Springs School and like bookreader said it is a legit school, fully accredited.

I would recommend you look into all of the options out there because there are a lot of them. One that I can recommend you check out is the University of Missouri’s online high school (MU HIGH SCHOOL).

Here is the link to the website: [High School Credits | Online high School Diploma | MU High School](http://cdis.missouri.edu/high-school.aspx)

You can also check out their facebook page: [MU High School | Facebook](Facebook)

Ashley, did you go to MU High School? Did you / will you graduate from it?

Hi GeekMom63. No I didn’t, but I know several who have. Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to find an answer for you. By the way, you have some very helpful insight about homeschooling!

Thanks! I was hoping for more people who had actually done those schools, because they are so interesting and so few people here seem to have much experience with them. I don’t have any particular questions, but thanks for the offer. I’m fascinated with all the wonderful uses for the internet. (old person here - didn’t grow up with it!)

I suggest that you consider Keystone as well. I’m a student there and I’ve found their course offerings to be appeasing. The prices are also competitive. I believe that that course would cost around $500 at Keystone, as opposed to Laurel Springs which would cost over $1,000 (it might actually be around $1,500). Keystone is self-paced though, so that may or may not be an ideal feature.

Keystone doesn’t offer AP Physics does it?

Keystone does offer it.

hi, does anyone know about ISHS by UNL?

compared to MU High School, which one would be better?
