I have put the e-mail address of my teacher in the teacher recommendation part of the application, but I'm not sure if he has received it.

Is an e-mail sent to him once I save the page with his address in the field?

You need to give your teachers the teacher recommendation form included in the application packet. The school does not send those out.

That's one option.

From the app:

If you apply online, you will be asked to provide the
email address of the teacher who will write a letter of
recommendation on your behalf. We will then email your
teacher with easy-to-follow instructions.

I asked him, and he said an e-mail would be fine.

Bump. I put the info in, does that mean they sent an e-mail to my teacher?

You see, I'm not sure. My teacher said he never received such an e-mail, even though I saved the information in the corresponding fields.

I e-mailed UNC's Admissions Office, and they said that if I couldn't get it to work, then a hard copy would be fine. I ended up giving my teacher an envelope and form.
