Online MBA worth it? (state school,Devry, etc)

To go with Political science major if i don't do law.

IMHO, if you aren’t in a job you love to do and that pays well, I say no.

If you are already in a job you love and in a position that pays well but you want to increase your knowledge and skills, I say yes.

It just my opinion though.

You can look to find an employer who will be willing to foot the bill for an MBA.

Depending on your goals: maybe.

I am partial to only attending schools with an AACSB accreditation; this may or may not be important to you.

I think it depends on your career goals. I had a friend with an undergrad business degree from a well respected school. After graduation, she was working in a smaller town and she got an MBA (part time/evenings) from the local state university. Some employers later held it against her (as in “why did you not attend a better school?” type questions).

I’d let an employer pay for that kind of MBA only if they see the value in it.
