Online or By Mail

Hey guys. I am going to be starting my college apps soon and I have two questions regarding the process.

  1. Is it better to apply online or by mail. I did a bit of searching and what I found was that online is better if the information you need to add fits. What does that mean? If I have a good number of ECs, will I be able to write them all in and explain them? I really like the idea of an online application, because my counselors at my HS are not reliable at all. I would like to keep them out of my college app process as much as possible.
  2. Is the early decision application process the same? I'm trying to do my own research as well, but sometimes it's much more clear when other people explain these things.

Thanks

*or by mail?

Depending on where you apply, you may have no choice but online. We came across very few schools that had a paper option during the process.

ED is the same process. You should go to the websites of the schools you are interested in and carefully read all the directions and deadlines for applying.

Given the choice, I’d choose online.

online for sure, you don’t want that paranoia feeling that yours might get lost in the mail

@ClaremontMom @university89 Will do, thank you guys for the replies

Sometimes it is free to do it online.
