What would all of you suggest? Is it better to apply online, by mail, or does it even matter?

I applied by mail, but online is much more convenient I think. It doesn't matter too much, but if you apply by mail, you get the advantage of seeing your entire application together. However, I don't think this outweighs the advantages of doing it online: You don't need to spend 60 cents on postage (your application will likely weigh more than one ounce), it's neater, and the postal service won't be able to lose your application; either my common application essay, or my entire common application was lost, so I had to resubmit my application.

I don't know if this applies to Yale or the common application schools, but I know that when I applied to Northwestern, which I did online because I messed up on the paper application, I had a lot of trouble with the text boxes for my essays because they wouldn't format correctly.
