<p>also, does anyone know if payment is mandatory or not when we fill out the pre-application data sheet on their own website?</p>
<p>i really can't remember if i paid or not, and don't really want to pay twice. thx</p>

<p>It's not mandatory. Check credit card statements or check your status on the website-the checklist includes whether or not you've paid.</p>
<p>The common app only offers the checking method for paying WashU, but if you log into your account on the WashU website, then you can pay online there :]</p>
