I’ve been doing a lot of research lately (not going to disclose topics to protect privacy) and I feel like I’ve collected a substantial amount of data and done some good analysis on the results my research has procured (overall, I’m pretty satisfied with my work). I was looking towards submitting my research for reviewing and possibly publishing on an online academic journal (NHSJS, Curieux, Columbia Junior Science Journal, Journal of Emerging Investigators) but I didn’t do some of my research under a mentor. Will this effect whether or not these journals will accept my research ?
Furthermore, are the journals that I listed previously accredited ? I am looking to continue doing research during my undergraduate, and I would like to be able to show schools that I apply to that I have published pieces of research in accredited journals (if and when my research is reviewed thoroughly enough to be published).
