I want to take a science course over the summer, I don't care if it's honors or not. Do you know of any online high schools that let you earn 1 credit in 1 summer?

Johns Hopkins CTY, it’s accredited as a high school so you can get credit

I don’t know about online high school (does Florida Virtual work in the summer), but you can definitely take them online from a community college if your school signs off on it.

Watch out, raiderade’s going to post in 52 minutes.

raiderade: Thanks, but I’d prefer online because I’m also going to be taking another summer course at my high school. The thing is I can only take 1 summer course at my school so to take another course, it’d have to be online.

lockn: Thanks, but my high school is unfortunately strict about awarding credits and I wouldn’t be allowed to earn a credit from my community college.

sqdwfe13! I see you’re a mystic too! Congrats.

[Keystone High School, Online High School, Online High School Diploma](http://www.keystonehighschool.com/)

Johns Hopkins CTY IS online, but its also accredited. Its called either distance ed or CTY Online, something like that. I’ve only had awesome experience with their courses.
I’ve heard CTD Northwestern is good too.
