<p>GatorLink charges $5 a month (60 hours) for dialup, after that you pay a per minute charge...is that right? or is there another option. Admissions tour had told us some, if not all, dorms had/were getting T1 line. I don't get it. Can somebody explain where you get the typical internet connection on campus, whether dialup or T1, how they charge and typical monthly costs....</p>
<p>you’re not going to use dialup. the school’s got some pretty big pipes, connected to ALL of the rooms. Most/many rooms will have wireless access as well by the end of the year.</p>
<p>outside of housing, most of the campus is already wireless.</p>
