Only 4 Academic/Core Classes Junior Year of HS?

<p>For my "academic" classes, I'm taking AP Comp, AP World, IB Physics SL, and Pre Cal Honors. I'm taking P.E and H Wind Ensemble, as I have for the past 2 years, and instead of Spanish 4 Honors, I've decided to take Art 3 since it's really a passion of mine...</p>

<p>I was planning on taking IB Spanish SL or Spanish 4 Honors my senior year, plus 4 more AP classes, but I'm worried that colleges would think that I took it easy my junior year. Should I take Spanish this year instead of Art, even though I know I won't have room for it next year? Some of my target/dream colleges are NYU, Boston College, and Cornell, and I'm looking to get into a pre-med program + minor in art.</p>

<p>Art 3 would actually “count” among the 5 they want to see so you’re fine. :)</p>
