<p>So since some of the other college forums have started ED threads, I thought I would too. Anyone applying ED and is excited/nervous as I am?? Man, if I don't get into any schools, I seriously don't know where else to go. So which schools are you guys applying to??</p>

<p>I am excited for ED results!! I know i didnt make it tho. CMU(SCS) is my reach school and i totally screwed up my application.
i might go to UMD if i dont make CMU.</p>

<p>Did anyone recently get the "Folder Pulled committee read" line on their admn info? I last got mine on the 21st and that was before my app was complete. And...nothing has changed since the 23rd.</p>

<p>Mine looks like that, but the stuff from the 22nd of November was just a change in my SAT II Chem score from collegeboard.. so basically it's the same. I wonder if that means that they made a decision on the 21st.</p>
<p>BTW how do we find out? Mail, or email? Do they send it BY the 15th or ON the 15th?</p>

<p>I live in the same town as Tepper, and go to school with his kids... he donated $55 million to CMU so if you're doing alumni interviews.. TRY AND GET ONE WITH HIM. If anyone can get you in, he can. His whole house is dedicated to CMU.. </p>

<p>If it's any help, guys, my D applied RD last year and her status looked just like yours....including that 'folder pulled committe read' item. By the time she was done, there were probably 15-18 entries there, as different parts of her app came in and she had her portfolio review, etc. - no one entry line really giving any clue as to which way the adcoms were leaning.</p>
<p>Sorry - no early hints as to their decision - her simple 'accept' didn't appear near the top of the screen until early on May 1. Her letter arrived in the mail about 2-3 days later.</p>

<p>I actually emailed the admission office, and he said that they have already mailed out the decision letter.
I think I did not get in though, since I have been pretty close to him but he did not tell whether I did get in or not.
I hope I didnt get rejected though. I would be happy if I get differred.</p>
<p>I'm not feeling all too confident at this point either. I'd be happy with a deferral.</p>
