Ooooooh... Problem With SCEA

Here’s the deal. I am sitting here with a 2050 sat1 (650 V, 740 M, 660 W) and 750 Math 2C, 730 Chemistry, and 680 US History.

Now for the dilemma: should i go ahead and apply early action to stanford, my top choice (a reach, i know), or should i wait for my new october sat scores to come in the mail and just apply regular decision???

Input is appreciated.

Oh yeah… i got a 212 on the psat so i think that my score will improve quite a bit.

<p>If by "quite a bit" you mean like 100+ points, then I suggest you wait for the regular round.</p>

<p>I think you need someone to clarify this, but I know many people were flat out rejected from Stanford early. You never know if your test scores will cause this to happen, so I would be cautious. Also, Stanford doesn't accept that many more EA than RD, so the benefit isn't the same as other schools.</p>
