OOS Acceptance Chances?

Hey everyone, I'm an OOS student from NJ and USC is my first choice. I submitted my application before the October deadline and have a 3.98 weighted GPA and my SAT is a little low at 1110 (CR+M) but I am taking them again in October. I am ranked 9/228 and have held about 5 leadership positions like First African American president of the NHS, Class of 2015 president mock trial, debate, interact and have taken 2 AP's. I have taken honors throughout. What do we think? Thanks so much

I think you have a pretty good shot. Being in the top 10% of your class is huge and your GPA is very good. You will want to make sure USC calculates your GPA as a 3.98 (there is a thread about this below). Since USC uses a super score, getting a higher score in either section will increase your chances. You can get an idea of the SAT scores for the various buckets you fit in:

you look like a shoe in. Capstone is also a pretty high possibility.
