OOS Chances, Please

<p>Visiting the campus next week, and so I'm hoping to show that I have a legitimate interest in the school.</p>

<p>Here are my stats/info:</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.55-3.60
Weighted GPA: 3.60-3.65
ACT score: currently 26, anticipating a 28+ on the Oct. ACT
SAT score: 1830
School doesn't report ranks.
State: Nebraska
Gender: Male
Religion: Jehovah's Witness</p>

<p>Good recommendations and an essay dealing with how a parent's addiction has influenced me as a person.</p>

<p>As for extra-curriculars, no real leadership positions, but I was a varsity athlete for three years, have done political campaign work, have held a job since freshman year (at times two jobs). Also, around 500 hours of community service.</p>

<p>i had similiar stats however my weighted gpa was a 4.2
CR + math was 1220 on SAT (1820 total) also OOS.</p>

<p>got accepted spring semester 2008.</p>

<p>Does Maryland take geographic diversity into consideration? I can't imagine many/any Nebraska kids going there.</p>
