Hi I live in Kansas and I know that out of state competition is very tough. Does anyone know percentages for acceptance of OOS applicants?

Also, my ACT score is pretty good at 33, but my SAT Scores are only decent at (720 CR, 670 M, 720 W) and SAT II's (740 Math II, 700 Lit) are all right. If I submit both of my scores will admissions look at the slightly higher ACT or focus in more on the SAT?

Last year, the acceptance rate was 44% for Virginians and about 30% for OOS students.

When students submit both SAT and ACT scores, we'll look at whatever scores are best. You can look up a SAT-ACT concordance charts to see what scores, in general, are equivalent (it's just a guideline, so don't take the chart as gospel).

By the way, I usually don't open any thread that looks like a "chances" thread. Just try to stay away from that if you want to get my attention in the future.
