OOS Possibilities

as far as the ranking goes,

Wisconsin-Madison is ranked 13th in USNews Report and 37th in Business Week ranking.

I would also suggest looking at indiana, as their Kelley school of Business is actually top-notch. + they offer a lot of scholarship ( 1310+ on the SAT = $9000/ yr)

Hmm, is there business better than UW? Also for the 1310 is that CR+Math? Because I have CR630 Math660 Writing660. and CR+Math Would only be 1290

um when i applied in september, i had 630 R, 670 M, 670 W and i got $5000/ yr but in octboer test, i got 750M, so i received a new letter saying that i got $9000/yr

Wisconsin is excellent for business, and so is Michigan State's Broad college of business among others

Ya I looked on US News rankings as far as business school rankings and UI is ranked higher than MSU and UW, though UI isn't that appealing to me.

Can't go wrong with the big three public schools in PA, especially for business.

What other two besides Penn State... I can't remember off the top of my head lol.

Pitt and Temple.

Cryto...don't forget to look out how you're going to potentially travel to those schools. Madison might be easy but when I spoke to the Penn State rep last year he made it sound like there was no direct way to get to the campus. It would be flying in (harrisburg? pittsburgh? philly?) and then taking the train in. Penn State is in the middle of Pennsylvania and not easy to get to if you are coming from afar.

I think you should check out Indiana University further...their Kelley School for Business has quite the reputation. It's a college town, top profs, great sports, great Greek system. Really an outstanding choice.

Penn State has an airport, but in general, you're right, it's not easy to get to, and the ride from Philly wasn't very fun.

Ya frankly I don't really want to go to school in pennsylvania... Ive been there and its not really my cup of tea. Indiana was interesting especially with the like 9000 dollars of aid based on SAT scores. It just seemed to me like it was all in-state kids there which seems like I would be sorta an outsider especially from the west coast. You're right though there business school is quite impressive

hahahahhahahhahahahahahaha are you serious? Where in PA were you? And seriously, IU is a great school, but the state of Indiana, outside of Bloomington, is a dump...

IU also has tons of kids from the northeast, and a good amount from the west coast.

Campus life is great at Wisconsin. Very lively.

Ohio State is great, too, and the weather is better in Columbus, Ohio.

Both of theses are on the Kiplinger "best value" list for colleges with high quality and low cost. Check flights from your home town to the places you are considering. Penn State is hard to get to.

I was in east pennsylvania I believe... around Philadelphia, perhaps its different elsewhere, but I didn't like it too much.

Concerning Indiana, ya I know its probably boring outside of campus and is VERY flat.

Someone mentioned the weather at OSU being better than UW but that honestly doesn't bother me. Some might say I don't really know how cold it is, but Ive been to the Sierras a lot and its a nice change of pace. Also I feel like UW academics is better than OSU so thats good as well.

That must've been difficult, considering Philly isn't in Eastern PA...

actually, i visted indiana this tues/wed and didn't find the town to be dull or anything.

it was actually a good size town with alot of things.

also the school has ALOT of OOS. so you probably wouldn't feel out of place.

I'm still waiting from Michigan, illinois, and Penn state..soo yea.

Philly isn't in eastern PA? Please enlighten me?

Southeastern. Eastern is like Allentown/Bethlehem/Reading.

Oh ok. Btw, all three of those cities are west of Philadelphia. :-)

Arg you guys caught me lol I don't know my pennsylvania geography lol. Im from, California give me a break O.o
