<p>Well, then you’d be lying and your application would be thrown in the trash if you try to make it seem you lived in the same state s the school but go to high school in a different state, but then again i dont know the rules and requirements for residency and state schools.</p>
<p>I don’t think you can get “residency” by using their address. I believe all states have stringent residency requirements to prevent OOS from taking advantage of the in-state tuition costs. See California’s requirement – I’m pretty sure most of the other states’ requirements are similar.</p>

<p>Your relative’s residency does not help you. My nephew could not claim in-state status even though his parents owned a 2nd home in the state where he applied.</p>
<p>How would you explain that you attended Ann Arbor High School, but your home address is in Connecticut and your parents file Connecticut state income taxes?</p>
