OOS Worried About Financial Aid

I’m a student from VA looking to apply to Pitt but I’m worried about if I’ll be able to afford it. I was gunning on the Honor’s College but my SAT score is only 1330 and I really don’t want to take it again because I have to pay out of my own pocket for every time I have to take it. I really like Pitt but is there any hope for me financially?

Hello!

Aside from scholarships (which you are automatically considered for if you apply before January 15), there are a few other options for funding your education at Pitt. I encourage you to read our web page on financial aid and follow the steps outlined there: http://oafa.pitt.edu/learn-about-aid/.

Feel free to reach out to our office if you have questions along the way. We would be happy to help!

Have you tried taking the ACT? You might want to give it a try to see how you do - for some people (my daughter included) she never did that great at SAT but the ACT clicked with her and her score was much better.
