<p>Our family went to Juniata's open house yesterday and came away very impressed. The atmosphere was very academic. It is apparent that while students are engaged in other activities, academics are the focus of the school. For example, the returning students with the highest gpa's get first choice in the housing lottery. Also, the professors seemed outstanding in their commitment to education and making sure that the students come away not only with a good education but marketable skills as well. The atmosphere was unpretentious and friendly. All in all we liked Juniata alot.</p>
<p>My d has been accepted and we are visiting for the first time next weekend. I’m very excited to see the school - I keep hearing such good things!</p>
