I can’t make it to the Open House, but I’d love to hear all about it. Can any of you tell me how it went and whether or not it helped you make a decision to attend/not attend? Thanks!

I just came back from the Open House. Unfortunately today was a bit rainy and very windy. Though we did have a bit of sun at times. After you register, you get a folder with info about admitted students, campus maps, etc. Then everyone gathers at a huge white tent where we listened to the president, vp, and I believe the dean talk about Bentley. Then it’s basically “free” time. You get to walk around the campus by yourself or you can join one of the academy or student life tours. There’s also trolleys that takes you to each stop so you don’t have to walk. There was also a barbecue outside the athletic center (I have to say that their gym is HUGEEEE). Then you could also go back to the student center where there’s food and there’s also booths for different things such as studying abroad, the 5 year graduate program, honors program, modern languages, history, science, accounting, finance, marketing, etc etc. You can talk to the staff at the booth about different courses and such. That really made me learn quite alot about the diff opportunities and classes at Bentley.

All the student staffs were really friendly and it was just awesome!

Thanks dimpleyy…so are you going to Bentley?

We went to Open House too, and agree with the poster here. Best part for us was talking with alumni who answered all of our detailed questions very candidly. They loved the school, and really encouraged our daughter to contact them via email or facebook at any time. Both had good jobs, and really stressed how strong the school is in career placement and networking.
