I plan on going to grad school in OR. I am a math minor, and I was curious what core math classes I should take to prepare me for my material in grad school. I've taken everything Calc 1-3, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations already. I have 3 more classes to satisfy my minor. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should take? Thanks!

Masters level or doctoral level?

Either way, Real Analysis is an extremely important class for future OR studies.

maybe a class in discrete math. Some places offer classes called “numerical methods” that often cover a lot of OR topics.

I’m OR grad school bound next year. Your main focus should be probability, cominatorics, stats, and comp sci. Good luck!

It sounds like you’re more stochastic optimization bound than OR bound with that combination.
