I am greatly interested in attending Yale. I was wondering if someone could be nice enough to elaborate on the I-Banking and Big 4 Accounting Firm Recruiting that goes on--on the Yale campus. If an I-Banking Firm Has A Stronger Candidate at Yale than at Harvard, would they recruit the Yale or Harvard candidate (I always fear that they might go for a teeny tiny slightly more recognized college[Harvard over Yale])? This answer will be greatly appreciated and will help me decide where I will matriculate. Thank You All.

If you get into both, don't base your decision on some I-banking recruiting factor, base it on your concerns for the next 4 yrs-- the school's social atmosphere, New Haven vs. Cambridge, etc.

Personally, which campus do you think is better?

Pretty much a toss up, Yale is more beautiful w/ the gothic, but Harvard has Boston. Social scene is better at Yale, but the Harvard name will for the forseeable future trump Yale's. Undergrad educ is better at Yale, more att'n out frwd to the ugrads, Harvard puts emphasis on grad students but ugrads put up w/ it b/c it's Harvard.

Can never go wrong at either place. I did a summer a Yale a long time ago and got a Master's at Harvard i the '90s. If I had to choose I guess I'd do Yale since it has a golf course.
