Hello, all. I am currently looking for insight on a few of the schools that I am deciding between. I am a high school senior, and I would like to pursue Electrical/Computer Engineering. I would appreciate if anyone could offer outside opinions on the following schools or share their direct experiences with them:
University of Rochester, R.P.I., Union and Tufts
These are the four main colleges I am currently considering. I know they are all good schools and I like their programs very much. However, how do their strengths in engineering stack up? I’m not quite sure which is the best combination of a good engineering school and a good overall university. For example, I know Tufts is a lot more selective than the others, but RPI is a lot more focused on engineering. From students that went to these schools or from engineers that have opinions on the strength of their programs, what do you think?
I already know that I would like to get a masters,so I need to take into consideration which school has research and will allow me to get into a top grad school. Please let me know whatever opinions you have. Thank you for the help.
